ABOUT US

The Purple Pickle Factory started with a wild idea and a bigger purpose: take a classic hood snack, candy pickles, and turn it into a real brand on real shelves, serving real communities.

Founder Rodney Sullivan began making candy-flavored pickles in Houston, Texas, long before they were a trend. What started as a hustle turned into a mission: prove that a bold idea from the neighborhood could stand next to any national brand in the grocery aisle. No shortcuts, no gimmicks, just flavor that makes you stop mid-bite like, “Hold up… this a pickle?”

From there, The Purple Pickle Factory was born.

Today, TPPF candy pickles come in five crowd-favorite flavors: Green Apple, Tropical Fruit, Blue Raspberry, Strawberry, and Watermelon. You can find them on shelves across Texas in H-E-B and Pyburns Grocers, along with other select retailers who bet on bold flavor and local ownership. Each jar is loud, fun, and unforgettable – the kind of snack you share once and people never stop asking about.

But this brand is about more than colorful pickles.

Rodney’s journey includes second chances and rebuilding his life from the ground up. The Purple Pickle Factory is proof of what happens when hustle meets discipline and purpose. Every jar represents ownership, creativity, and possibility – especially for kids who have never seen someone who looks like them own a product in their local grocery store, right there next to the big brands at H-E-B.

From Houston kitchens to major chains like H-E-B and neighborhood staples like Pyburns Grocers, TPPF is leading the candy pickle category and opening doors for the next generation of “young moguls on the move.”

The Purple Pickle Factory isn’t just “something good to snack on.”

It’s The Pickle With Purpose: made to spark conversations, inspire entrepreneurs, and remind people that no dream is too wild to end up on a store shelf.
